It's great that the day I post about fake Rove-generated "comeback" stories and efforts to create realities that don't exist, Mr. Rove himself runs a WSJ editorial entitled "Voters Haven't Decided Yet."
Aside from being a textbook example of fantastically wishful thinking, it's patently untrue. It is an empirical fact that the vast majority of voters of any political persuasion have long since decided.

Actually, I think Rove is trying to keep the base motivated. If there's any possibility that McCain could win this thing, it's critical that the base doesn't just say "Fuck it" and stay home. They have to believe there's still a chance.

I think the reason the handfull of people at the klan rallies for McSame are so pissed is because they can see the handwriting on the wall and know there is nothing they can do about it. The whole thing is in a downward spiral and so is McSame. Lately he has trouble just saying the catch phrases of the day, let alone a sentence that makes sense. So of course the evil Rove is trying to spin things his way.
It was Hitler's propaganda minister that said if you say something long enough and often enough, people will believe it. Rove is a student of Hitler and Stalin when it comes to politics.
