A key passage in LOOKING BACKWARD, Edward Bellamy's Gilded Age surprise hit about socialism, has been on my mind a lot lately; its relevance to where we sit today will be obvious upon reading it. It's most famous for what it says about the laboring masses, but is no less insightful about middle class "wealth," precariousness, and the fear that fuels reactionary politics. ...

Trump really is a generational political talent. He might single-handedly resurrect moribund center-left parties around the world if he keeps making "endorsements." It seems to wander from Obama's Muslim connection, to his connection to terrorists (anti-Americans), next to his liberal policy preferences and finally to his lack of experience. Obama's policy preferences and lack of experience and his judgment are legitimate factors to consider. It is not low-brow or "grasping at straws" to genuinely research the guy who has not been in politics for very long.

The point of my post (insert denigrating comment about your reading comprehension skills here) was that people like yourself will always come up with some reason to dislike him so it's irrelevant to refute his "Muslim connection" or "connection to terrorists."
Try to keep up, now.
