OK so this is an emergency; isn't someone supposed to have planned for this? Wasn't, like, one staffer assigned to draw up the list of "must dos before we have to hand the keys over to fascists?"

Just a big shrug. The roll-over-and-die response we've come to know and love. "Won't work, so why try." Why do anything to try to gum up the works when you can simply check out and demonstrate your spite toward the electorate that failed you.
