I loved David Lynch's work as much as I hated listening to him talk about art. The whole "Do what you love, do it well, just be yourself" thing sounds great but is actually horrendous advice unless you're already successful or independently wealthy. Remember this god-awful op-ed? Well the guy who wrote it (Tom Goldstein, the publisher of SCOTUSblog) was indicted today for tax evasion and using client money to pay his personal gambling debts. So not only does the NYT do everything it can to normalize and make excuses for Trump, they apparently don't ask many questions either!

Anyway Tom good luck getting the pardon that was obviously your goal when you wrote this. ...
